This is a rare opportunity for a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join a well-established regional firm in Sale.
With the support of a strong litigation team, you’ll have the chance to shape, develop and ultimately lead a brand-new contentious probate offering from the ground up.

Who we’re looking for
* Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years’ contentious probate experience
* Able to manage your own caseload independently
* Strong client-care, communication and negotiation skills
* Experience handling disputes involving wills, probate and Inheritance Act claims
* Ambitious, commercially aware and excited about building a team
* Skilled in mediation, negotiation and resolution-focused litigation
* Confident advising executors, beneficiaries and trustees
* Strong relationship-builder with empathy and professionalism
What you’ll be doing
* Manage a varied contentious probate caseload
* Advise and represent clients at all stages from pre-action to court proceedings
* Draft pleadings, witness statements and settlement documents
* Lead negotiations, mediations and litigation strategy
* Work collaboratively with a supportive litigation department
* Develop internal and external referral networks
* Help shape and build a dedicated contentious probate team
* Contribute to department strategy, client development and service delivery
