This role will support relationships with local Logistics Service Providers across the Norgine European and Export freight, warehousing, and distribution network.
Liaise with the warehouse team daily to understand their transport requirements.
Liaise with freight suppliers to confirm outbound transport requirements and maintain operational flows.
Maintain the Hengoed transport forecast overview.
Request and obtain transport quotations for new transit lanes or ad hoc business requests.
Generate weekly Hengoed pallet forecasts for communication to third-party warehouses (3PL).
Arrange ad hoc outbound shipments from Hengoed and returns to Hengoed.
Upload third-party logistics providers' pallet holding data into the Global Distribution dashboard weekly.
Generate long-term pallet forecasts for communication to all 3PL markets.
Participate in weekly meetings with transport providers.
Support audits by locating and providing shipment and delivery data.
Support departmental continuous improvement projects.
The individual will be responsible for data gathering and report creation to support the end-to-end product flow from manufacturing sites to third-party warehouses across EU/UK/OW within a complex freight, warehousing, and distribution network, delivering against key strategic, service, quality, and innovation targets.
Develop a 'one Norgine' culture through process and behavior modeling.
Participate in GD team governance activities and process development.
The role involves managing a complex freight, warehousing, and distribution network, requiring problem-solving skills, cultural awareness, and change management interest.
The individual will be accountable for data gathering and report creation supporting product flow from manufacturing to warehouses across EU/UK/OW.
Maintain effective relationships with internal functions including Manufacturing, Warehousing, Quality Partners, Distributors, and transport providers.
Qualifications include good interpersonal skills, proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, and 5 GCSGs at C level or above including Maths & English.
Desirable skills and experience include knowledge of pharmaceutical logistics operations, continuous improvement experience, and a second language (Western European).
