The opportunity

As part of our continued growth ambitions, we are looking for a established and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to establish and cultivate meaningful partnerships and fuel business growth.

You'll be at the heart of our growth ambitions - uncovering new opportunities, and deepening the connection with our existing Partners and Firms. You'll play a key role within Partnership Services - combining sales strategy, client relationship management and market insight to drive our long term success.

This is a Swindon based role, however nationwide travel will be required.

What we offer:

1. Salary - £70,000 - £75,000
2. Bonus scheme - on target bonus - 15%
3. Pension scheme - contribute up to 5% of your salary and Openwork will match you and put in an extra 5%

What you'll be doing:
9. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within our target market
10. Acting as the primary liaison ensuring ongoing engagement and support
11. Delivering proactive relationship management ensuring high levels of satisfaction
12. Conducting regular service reviews and feedback sessions
13. Working closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless service
14. Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals to potential customers on our proposition
15. Identifying opportunities to expand our service usage
16. Negotiation of commercial terms, renewals and expansion of our service offering


What will you need to succeed?

17. Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
18. An established understanding of Mortgage, Protection and Wealth advice
19. Proven track record of meeting sales targets
20. Good understanding of T&C framework
21. Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills, able to build trust and long-term relationships
22. Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making ability, able to use sound judgement
23. Ability to consistently achieve standards and deadlines without a need for supervision
24. Commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic and operational priorities
