Join our client’s dedicated team – they're an esteemed UK specialist in the design and production of precision gearing systems and gearboxes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct first off and final inspections of precision machined parts, compiling and reviewing First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 (training available).
* Utilise measuring equipment effectively, including micrometers, verniers, and CMM systems, to assess product specifications.
* Collaborate with the team to analyse data, identify quality trends, and address any issues proactively.
Ideal Candidate:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in inspection within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* Proven proficiency in inspecting precision machined components.
* Strong analytical abilities coupled with a keen attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
* Familiarity with geometric tolerances and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality management software, with an understanding of statistical process control (SPC).
