We are recruiting an experienced Conveyancing professional to join the Residential Property team. This position can be based at any one of our UK locations.
The role is a permanent full‑time position (37.5 hours per week) with a typical working pattern of Monday‒Friday 09:00–17:30, 1‑hour lunch break. Hybrid working options are available once the successful candidate can manage their workload.
We’re looking for someone with deep local knowledge and client connections who is ready to hit the ground running. Please note that some travel and out‑of‑hours work will be required for networking, business development, meetings and training.
Responsibilities
 * Manage a caseload of varied conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
 * Liaise proactively with third parties to keep all parties informed of transaction progress.
 * Conclude cases efficiently while adhering to service level agreements, quality standards, and client expectations.
 * Undertake post‑completion tasks independently to ensure cases are closed accurately.
 * Provide technical expertise and support to team members as needed.
 * Demonstrate a strong understanding of transactions involving personal representatives, attorneys, trusts, and matrimonial aspects.
 * Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, protecting clients and the business.
 * Confidently develop working relationships with all external providers and build professional networks.
 * Provide a full and comprehensive legal service to all clients, ensuring all their legal needs are met.
Qualifications
 * Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive, or equivalent, with demonstrable experience managing varied conveyancing caseloads.
 * Expertise in complex matters, including Shared Ownership, New Builds, Lease Extensions, and more (broad experience is advantageous).
 * Proficient in resolving technical issues and rectifying title defects.
 * Confident with all MS Office packages and previous case management system experience.
 * Exceptional time‑management and organisational skills.
 * Analytical, diligent, and confident in using Management Information (MI) to achieve outcomes.
 * Professional under pressure, with outstanding communication abilities across all levels.
