Job Responsibilities:
* Document Pre-screening: Meticulously examine all relevant trade documents (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, contracts, certificates of origin) to ensure their authenticity, accuracy, and completeness.
* Cargo Inspection & Clearance Monitoring: Conduct physical inspections of import/export goods to verify consistency between the actual quantity, quality, specifications, and the declared information. Monitor and follow up on customs clearance progress, coordinating with customs brokers to handle exceptions such as physical inspections and requests for additional documentation.
* Duty & Tax Calculation: Accurately calculate all applicable duties and taxes based on the goods' classification, quantity, value, and relevant tax rates.
* Liaison with Customs Authorities: Communicate effectively with customs officials to explain, address, and resolve any issues or inquiries that may arise.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above.
* Proficiency in both English and Chinese is preferred.
* Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in customs operations.
* International trade, supply chain, logistics, customs management major preferred
* Holder of an EU Customs Broker certification or training certificate is a strong advantage.
* Proficiency in operating DMS Customs systems is highly preferred.
