About the role
Benefact Group is seeking a Lead Workflow Engineer to join our Gloucester office.
The role involves driving development standards, practices, and processes across the lifecycle for the Evari CloudStream platform, ensuring designs are fit-for-purpose, align with architectural principles, and deliver business value. The Lead Workflow Engineer will act as the internal technical authority, supporting Solution Architects, mentoring workflow engineers, and working with suppliers to enhance platform maturity and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
1. Develop technical design artefacts supporting feature implementation, serving as a bridge between solution architecture and delivery teams.
2. Provide technical consultancy, coaching, and mentoring for workflow engineers.
3. Create artefacts related to platform design, implementation, best practices, and operations.
4. Implement user stories to deliver business value, adhering to standards and non-functional requirements.
5. Support platform release, deployment, maintenance, and operation.
Knowledge, skills, and experience
1. Extensive experience with low-code platforms, software development lifecycle, and test automation.
2. Experience in technical authoring, standards, patterns, and practices development.
3. Knowledge of APIs and service integration techniques.
4. Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, and UI design.
5. Experience in application development and testing within insurance and regulatory workflows.
6. Familiarity with agile delivery practices.
7. Strong communication skills, capable of translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
