Role Reports To
Director, Product Vigilance & Alliance Management.
Location
Europe/Middle East/Africa, United Kingdom, Reading, Berkshire. Work Location: Hybrid.
What You Will Do
This position reports to the Director, Product Vigilance and Alliance Management and is based at Kenvue UK HQ in Reading. It is a 12‑month placement designed for university students to develop leadership, technical and communication skills through practical business experience and ongoing training, development, coaching and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams to ensure the safety and efficacy of our products.
* Support new and existing projects and strategic initiatives within the Medical Safety teams.
* Utilize advanced data analytics and AI tools to identify potential safety enhancements.
* Develop interactive safety communication materials that translate complex medical data into engaging insights for diverse stakeholders.
* Support the creation of dynamic safety databases to enhance real‑time tracking and reporting of adverse events.
* Explore novel methodologies for integrating patient‑reported outcomes into safety evaluations.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:
* Legally authorized to work in the UK.
* Actively enrolled in an accredited university course that allows a 12‑month industrial placement.
* On track for a 2:1 or higher.
* Proficient in Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
* Ability to provide own transportation between home and work office location.
Desired Qualifications:
* Degree focused in Engineering (Chemical, Biomedical, Packaging, Mechanical, Materials, etc.) or Science (Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Personal Care, Microbiology, Neuroscience, Consumer & Sensory Science, Food Science, Pharmacy, etc.).
* Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
* Real interest in the consumer industry.
* Displays willingness to learn, strong problem‑solving skills and capable of working in a fast‑paced environment.
