An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to play a key role within our operations team, helping us deliver a high-quality, efficient and consistent service to our customers whilst ensuring the effective utilisation of our assets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership capability, a solid engineering background and a passion for operational excellence, safety and team development. What you’ll be doing As Workshop Manager, you will lead and support a team of multi-disciplined engineers, ensuring equipment is maintained, prepared and available for hire in line with operational requirements and customer expectations. You will be responsible for driving workshop performance, maintaining high safety standards and ensuring operational KPIs are consistently achieved. Key responsibilities include: Managing the day-to-day operations of the workshop Leading, motivating and developing a team of engineers and workshop colleagues Ensuring equipment is inspected, serviced and prepared to the highest standards Driving workshop productivity and ensuring operational KPIs are achieved Supporting compliance with all Health & Safety and Environmental regulations Ensuring statutory training and compliance requirements are completed and maintained Monitoring workshop processes and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Supporting operational planning and effective asset utilisation Providing technical support and hands-on assistance where required Maintaining excellent communication across operational and support teams What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and able to lead from the front in a fast-paced operational environment.
