At Horizon Teachers, we are currently seeking reliable and proactive Daily Cover Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across North West London. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy variety in their work and are confident supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, experienced Teaching Assistants, university graduates, or those with experience working with children who are looking for flexible, daily supply work.
The Role:
Providing classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
Supporting pupils with SEND where required.
Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children (school-based experience desirable).
Be adaptable, reliable and confident in new environments.
Have strong communication skills.
Be proactive and able to use initiative.
Be passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
