MBSE Capella Subject Matter Expert
Location: Derby or Bristol - Hybrid working
We are looking for an MBSE with strong expertise in Capella to join our growing Model Based Systems Engineering function. You will play a key role in supporting engineers, improving modelling standards, and helping teams adopt modern MBSE practices across complex aerospace programmes.
What you'll do
1. Provide expert support and troubleshooting for Capella and Team for Capella users
2. Deliver onboarding, coaching, and training on MBSE and the ARCADIA method
3. Support users with Git, Azure DevOps, and collaborative modelling workflows
4. Improve MBSE guidance, standards, and training materials
5. Assist with User Acceptance Testing for new plug‑ins, scripts, and tool updates
6. Review, fix, and enhance existing models to ensure quality and compliance
What we're looking for
7. Subject Matter Expertise in Capella is essential
8. Strong understanding of ARCADIA and MBSE principles
9. Confident supporting and coaching users at all levels
10. Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
11. Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
12. A background in aerospace or defence.
Desirable
13. Some experience/knowledge of Cameo or MagicDraw (SysML/SysML2)
14. INCOSE ASEP/CSEP or equivalent
