Responsibilities: As a supervising social worker in the county-wide fostering team you will be responsible for supporting, assessing and supervising foster carers to ensure they provide high-quality therapeutic care to the children. You will advise, inspire, support and challenge foster carers and their families to grow in confidence and achieve their potential. You will create supportive and nurturing relationships, work with young people with a history of trauma, collaborate with professionals involved with looked-after children, and maintain high standards of safety and care.
Qualifications & Experience: Previous social work experience, a record of working with young people who have a history of trauma, strong communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships with professionals.
