The Vice President (VP) will play a key leadership role within Jefferies’ Energy Investment Banking team, focusing on upstream oil and gas transactions. The successful candidate will leverage deep industry expertise and financial acumen to lead transaction execution, drive business development, and manage client relationships. Key Responsibilities
Transaction Execution
* Lead the execution of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates within the upstream sector.
* Oversee financial modeling, valuation analyses (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions), and due diligence.
* Draft and review key transaction documents, including investment memoranda, pitch presentations, and client updates.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including legal, accounting, and tax advisors, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
Client Management
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor.
