The Role
As a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in providing insightful financial analysis and strategic support to operational leaders. You will help drive business performance, improve cost control, and support decision-making through robust financial reporting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
* Partner with operational teams to analyse financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Deliver detailed variance analysis and commentary to senior stakeholders.
* Oversee accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Support commercial tenders, pricing models, and margin analysis.
* Assist in the development of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency.
* Mentor and support junior members of the finance team.
About You
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with strong post-qualification experience.
* Previous experience within contract services, hospitality, or facilities management preferred.
* Strong analytical and commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail.
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
* Confident communicator able to build relationships across finance and operations.
* Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
