Our client, a highly regarded primary school in the heart of Plymouth, Devon, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
In this role, you will work alongside our dedicated teachers and specialists to provide tailored support and guidance to students with a variety of learning needs, including physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges. You should be comfortable working collaboratively with our teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement effective strategies that enable our students to reach their full potential.
In addition to your strong interpersonal skills, you should have a solid understanding of the UK's Special Educational Needs Code of Practice and be familiar with a range of assistive technologies and teaching methodologies. Previous experience working in a primary school setting, particularly with children who have special educational needs, is highly desirable.
As a member of our close-knit team, you will benefit from ongoing professional development opportunities and the chance to work in a supportive and dynamic environment. Our client values the contributions of their staff and is committed to providing a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including £85-£95 per day.
If you are an enthusiastic, adaptable, and compassionate individual who is eager to make a difference in the lives of our students, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
Together, we can create a inclusive and nurturing learning environment where all children can thrive.
