A highly regarded, regional law firm in the heart of Leeds is seeking a Criminal Solicitor to join its Personal Injury and Inquests team.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to specialise in a unique and growing area of law: Criminal Defence work with a focus on Dangerous Dogs Act cases.
You'll be joining a progressive, values-driven practice that places real emphasis on collaboration, flexibility and community responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
* Handle a specialist caseload of Dangerous Dogs Act matters, including prohibited breeds and out-of-control dogs
* Represent clients at police stations, Magistrates' Court and Crown Court
* Provide high-quality, client-focused advice and advocacy
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of criminal law and practice
* Work independently while being supported by a collaborative and experienced team
About You
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), ideally 2+ years PQE in criminal law (flexible depending on experience)
* Solid case management and advocacy skills
* Strong IT literacy and numeracy
* Able to manage complex and sensitive cases with professionalism and care
* Experience in Dangerous Dog cases is advantageous – though not essential if you're keen to specialise in this niche area
* Highly organised with an ability to prioritise under pressure
