Warehouse Operative – Contract Position
💰 Pay: £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
📍 Location: Milton Keynes
🕒 Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00
💰 Contract: 3-month initial contract (potential for extension)
About the Role TXM are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to support efficient logistics and materials handling operations at their site in Milton Keynes. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual with proven warehouse experience and valid forklift licences, looking to join a well-structured and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in providing a prompt and efficient logistics service to both internal and external customers.
Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
Load, unload, and move materials as required.
Maintain accurate inventory control and follow warehouse management procedures.
Ensure the workplace is kept clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Return all tools and equipment to their proper locations at the end of each shift.Skills and Competencies
Good understanding of ERP or warehouse management systems (ideally SAP).
Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
Basic IT literacy.Qualifications and Experience
Valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance Forklift Licences – essential.
Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and H&S procedures.
Good GCSEs or equivalent.Personal Attributes
