FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a QHSE Coordinator based in North-West Aberdeenshire, on a Permanent, Full Time basis. Following a period of recent company growth, this newly-created position will support the QHSE Manager with a variety of QHSE activities in a busy manufacturing environment, while helping to maintain and improve their IMS, and develop valuable experience in a key support role. Main duties include: Supporting the implementation and maintenance of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001) Assisting in incident investigations and compiling reports Participating in audits, inspections, and risk assessments Keeping accurate records for training, inspections, maintenance, and incidents Supporting toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions Compiling and analysing QHSE metrics and performance data Assisting with preparation for internal and external audits Helping to maintain and review risk assessments and safe systems of work Promoting a strong, proactive safety culture across the organisation Staying informed on legislation and supporting fire marshal duties Assisting with inductions and deputising for the QHSE Manager when required Supporting carbon reduction initiatives Suitable candidates should have the following: IOSH Managing Safely qualification Experience working with QHSE management systems Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good communication and teamworking skills Strong work ethic, with a proactive attitude NEBOSH General Certificate (Desirable) Previous experience in a fabrication, welding, energy or manufacturing environment (Desirable) Auditor training (Desirable) Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeenshire, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
