Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor or Junior Partner to join our Corporate & Commercial Team in Northampton. They have the largest commercial law team in Northamptonshire – recognised by the Legal 500, Lexcel Accredited, and winner of numerous awards. It may come as a shock, but there is an active Company & Commercial market outside of the big cities – this region is thriving and with that, comes great opportunity for ambitious lawyers. Our cilent's growing team works with local, regional and national clients; supporting them with all aspects of their business. They're looking for someone with a broad understanding of the commercial and legal needs of corporate clients and experience in advising on: corporate structures; acquisition and growth strategies; succession planning; mergers and joint ventures; restructures and demergers; commercial contracts; and corporate governance. You will have entrepreneurial instincts and spirit and be used to collaborating closely with colleagues across a range of disciplines, clients and other firms and advisers. You will be well connected professionally and adept at networking and driving business development. Responsibilities: You will be advising on the following: * Mergers, Acquisitions & Disposals * Succession Planning * Employee Share Schemes including EMIs, EBTs and EOTs * Restructuring and Demergers * Finance Documents * Governance Documents including Shareholders Agreements, Articles of Association and Partnership Agreements * Commercial Contracts * Franchising * …drafting, advising, negotiating, dealmaking… if you follow all that, AND enjoy supervising and working in an environment that also promotes a healthy work life balance… then you’re talking our language, and if that’s the case we should be talking.
