GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a school in Bentley. Role Overview: As an SEMH Teacher, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils. You will create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment that supports both educational progress and emotional wellbeing. As an SEMH Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to the needs of pupils with SEMH. Build positive, trusting relationships to support emotional and behavioural development. Manage behaviour effectively using positive strategies. Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and pastoral teams. Promote safeguarding and pupil welfare at all times. Requirements for SEMH Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience teaching pupils with SEMH, SEN, or behavioural needs (desirable). Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills. A patient, empathetic, and resilient teaching style. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
