We are seeking a compassionate and committed graduate for this SEN Teaching Assistant role to join a specialist school that supports children with high-support autism and profound multiple learning difficulties. This role is ideal for an art or creative graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a therapeutic environment while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children.
About the Learning Support Assistant Role:
1. Salary: £101.40 per day
2. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:45pm (term time only)
3. Start Date: September 2025 – Trial days and interviews taking place before hand
4. Slough
As an LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting the children’s daily lives, including Sensory care, keeping the child safe personal care, toilet care, gaining experience that fully qualified Clinical and Occupational, Speech and Language Therapists go through when completing the extensive qualifying processes.
You will also help create a nurturing and stimulating environment, using art, music, and play as therapeutic tools to engage and support the children.

Global Development Delay (GDD):
Global Development Delay refers to a significant delay in two or more areas of a child’s development, such as motor skills, speech, cognition, or social-emotional growth. In this role, you will work closely with children who have GDD, learning their unique stimuli and preferences to help them thrive. Your support will be instrumental in fostering their development and enhancing their quality of life.
