This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment, testing both hardware and software systems developed fully in-house. What you will do: Act as the focal point for all system test activities within the R&D environment. Test complex embedded software systems (both black box and white box). Develop a deep understanding of products to provide a customer/user perspective that enhances software development. Plan test setups based on use cases and technical requirements; define efficient test strategies and infrastructure. Work closely with developers to analyse bugs, key requirements, and test/system aspects. Provide feedback to the development team to improve product design. Develop tools and test setups to automate testing for rapid release schedules. Evaluate field issues and propose practical solutions. Conduct various types of testing, including: GUI testing Usability testing Software performance testing Compatibility testing Security testing Regression testing Installation testing Recovery testing Essential Requirements: A degree in a numerate/scientific subject (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science) OR HNC level qualification plus significant experience. Strong knowledge of Test Plan and Test Case creation. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Strong report writing abilities with the capability to present complex data clearly and concisely. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritise effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Desirable Requirements: Automation expertise with Python. Ability to design, develop, and execute automation scripts.
