Cook/Chef, based at Coppelia House, Moretonhampstead - Full time and part time hours available, to include alternate weekends. £14.75, £15.00 per hour at weekends.

Yes, it’s a busy kitchen; Yes, you’ll be working to dietary needs, preferences, and routines. But what you’re really doing? You’re making someone feel seen, safe, and satisfied.
A bit about the role:
· Plan and prepare and cook balanced, home-cooked meals tailored to resident's dietary needs
· Ensure meals are presented well and served on time
· Follow food safety, hygiene, and nutritional guidelines
· Maintain a clean and well-organised kitchen
· Work collaboratively with care staff to ensure resident's needs are met
· Bringing warmth, pride, and maybe even a few laughs into the heart of the home.
What we're looking for:
· An experience passionate Cook
· Knowledge of food safety, allergies, and dietary requirements (e.g., soft diets, diabetic-friendly meals) - or a willingness to learn
· Ability to work efficiently, independently and keeping calm under pressure
· A caring and compassionate attitude
· Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
· A warm, friendly personality and a good sense of humour - it helps in a busy kitchen!
