Corporate Associate / Senior Associate - Street, Somerset A well-established firm in Somerset is looking to appoint a Corporate Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing team in Street. This is a role for a lawyer who enjoys the variety and pace of corporate work - advising owner-managed businesses, SMEs, partnerships and entrepreneurs on everything from business sales and acquisitions to shareholder agreements, restructures, refinancing, and a broad range of commercial contracts. You'll work closely with colleagues across commercial property, employment and private client to deliver a joined-up service to clients. There's plenty of scope to take the lead on transactions and help shape ongoing client relationships, while being part of a supportive and well-connected team. While some flexibility is offered, this role is primarily based in the Street office to support collaboration and client service. You'll be involved in: Handling share and asset sales and purchases Drafting shareholder, partnership and joint venture agreements Advising on company restructures, refinancing, and constitutional changes Drafting terms and conditions, agency and franchise agreements Supporting secured lending and company secretarial work Managing transactions from instruction to post-completion Developing client relationships and contributing to team growth Who this will suit: A corporate lawyer with 3 years' PQE and strong technical grounding Someone confident running transactions, but who also values being part of a close-knit team A lawyer who enjoys working directly with business owners and helping to shape their long-term plans For more information or a confidential chat, just get in touch.
