FP&A Controller (Healthcare)
Location: Central London (Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office)
My client is within the Healthcare Industry and is looking for an FP&A Business Partner to act as a key interface between finance and the Care Groups. The role involves owning the financial plan and forecast for the Care Group, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing the Care Group P&L to optimize financial performance.
* Delivering P&L plans and forecasts, ensuring assumptions are valid and supported by the Care Group management team.
* Providing financial business partnering, including reviewing business cases and assessing marketing ROI.
* Strategically analyzing the long-term service model and communicating risks and opportunities.
* Building trusted relationships with senior leadership and influencing financial decisions.
* Providing insightful commentary aligned with month-end and quarterly forecasts.
* Collaborating with central FP&A and clinical teams to improve staffing controls and efficiency.
* Managing staffing models and challenging resource requests for optimal staffing levels.
* Working with procurement to identify supply efficiencies.
* Leading profitability analysis and implementing improvements.
* Conducting benchmarking against competitors when data is available.
* Performing ad hoc analyses as needed.
Required Experience:
* Proven track record of driving financial improvements.
* Experience managing a P&L or parts of it.
* Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence, comfortable presenting to non-financial audiences.
* Healthcare experience is desirable.
* Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with at least 4 years post-qualification experience.
* Degree 2:2 or higher.
* Advanced Excel, Power BI skills, and an interest in automation for analysis.
