Our College is entering a truly exciting new chapter. Recently named Yorkshire and Humberside's regional Construction Technical Excellence College (CTEC) - one of just ten nationally - we are recognised for leadership in technical education, employer collaboration, and industry innovation. Following our Ofsted visit in March 2025, which confirmed progress in every area, and achieving an Outstanding financial health rating, we are seeking an exceptional strategic leader to join our Strategic Leadership Team.
As Assistant Principal Quality & Student Experience, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of LCB\'s success. Reporting directly to the Vice Principal Curriculum, Quality and Innovation, you will provide visionary leadership to ensure consistently high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across the College. You will strengthen the Quality Assurance Framework to drive continuous improvement and meet national standards. You will lead staff development and CPD within the College and across CTEC hub partners, enhancing our reputation for technical excellence. With a strong focus on students, you will promote learner voice and engagement while collaborating with employers and partners to secure effective, funded support for apprentices and learners. This is a role for a leader who combines strategic vision with operational excellence, inspiring colleagues and students alike through a culture of high expectations, collaboration, and innovation.
At Leeds College of Building, we are proud to be the UK\'s only specialist general further education college for construction and the built environment.
