Job Description
WSP is looking for a Senior Engineer to join our industry-leading Intelligent Infrastructure team. We are expanding our Digital Infrastructure Design Capability across all areas and are actively seeking individuals with enthusiasm for digital technologies and digital design methodologies.
Responsibilities
As a Senior engineer, you will engage in design tasks within a broader team, facilitating on‑the‑job learning of all aspects related to roadside infrastructure design. You are expected to collaborate efficiently with the team, share ideas, provide support, and address any gaps as necessary. Additionally, you will work with a diverse group of individuals and contribute to the mentoring and development of junior staff. Your role requires strong problem‑solving mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations, escalating issues to senior staff when appropriate.
Qualifications
* A degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or relevant experience in technology design.
* EITHER working towards professional registration or professionally registered with an accredited institute.
* In possession of domain knowledge in a relevant industry, such as power, communications, electrical, electronics or highway design.
* Understanding of roadside infrastructure and design standards.
* Ability to carry out design processes, including the use of design tools.
* Experience working as part of a team in delivering designs or schemes.
* Collaborating with colleagues from other disciplines.
