ABC Teachers is looking for a skilled 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN School in Birmingham on a full-time basis. About the role: Confidently provide 1:1 education to students. Ability to work with students with a range of Social, Emotional or Mental Health (SEMH) needs from years 7 to 9. Liaise with other school staff to devise lesson plans based on the curriculum guidelines and what is currently being taught in other lessons. Assess and monitor student’s progress, using assessments from their home schools and robust baseline diagnosis, aiming to reduce the impact of their medical conditions on their educational outcomes. Encourage student participation and performance. Full time position available for an immediate start, with potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.
