Job Description:

Account Executive Public Sector


Job Role Responsibilities

* Achieve or exceed sales targets as discussed with manager
* Proactively develop sales opportunities and understand customer requirements
* Win new business supported by Public Sector bid team
* Grow and develop existing account base
* Collaborate with pre-sales team to lead the Bechtle messaging and offerings with customers
* Manage customer / supplier / distribution relationships (manage your network)
* Be responsible for pipeline
* Be at the forefront of technology developments and discuss this with public sector customers


Job Requirements

You must be self-motivated and hardworking with a minimum of good GCSEs or equivalent in English and Math, and ideally, but not necessarily, good A-Levels. You should be extremely efficient and well-organized, paying attention to detail. A positive attitude, upbeat and helpful persona is key. You need to be able to take direction but also use your own initiative, and be enthusiastic and self-motivated. Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel is useful but not essential. The company values teamwork, so being a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude is essential.
