We are a fashion PR and communication firm with offices in the heart of West London. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with bespoke, high-level support and strategic advice. We require someone with excellent knowledge of the fashion press and strong relationships with editors and stylists across all platforms.
Suitable applicants will highly motivated and used to working across a range of great fashion clients. You will be required to manage the junior team, take initiative and be highly organised with the ability to multi-task, and work well under pressure both in a team and independently.
Someone who has an exceptional talent for writing, an excellent media relations skill set and a strong grasp of social media and online communications, with a great track record in media delivery. 5th House PR is looking for someone who is driven to get the best possible results for their clients and enjoys being given the responsibility and ownership to achieve them, and has great team skills.
Responsibilities:
* Write press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and product pieces
* Pitch press releases and product placement feature ideas by email to national, regional and trade journalists, across print, broadcast and online, to interest them in covering their clients' stories
* Respond to phone calls and emails from journalists
* Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients
* Attend client events and industry conferences
* Brainstorm fresh ideas for PR campaigns
* Network and build relationships with fashion assistants and junior fashion editors at all publications relevant to the accounts you will be working across
* VIP outreach – this will include influencer and celebrity outreach to secure placements for relevant clients you will be working across
* VIP and brand collaboration brainstorming and outreach where necessary
* Support Account Managers
* Scanning daily coverage to send to clients
* Supporting on monthly reports
* Managing interns, this will include managing them across all sample send-outs, couriers and all other admin duties
Requirements:
* Strong, current, and fluid working relationships with fashion editors and stylists
* Ability to concept, create and maintain press plans
* Excellent writing and communication skills
* Ability to effectively organise and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
* Ability to maintain ongoing relationships with members of the media
* Work well in a team environment
* Experience with Canva
* Strong knowledge of social media and the medie landscape
* Minimum 2 years exp
