Role Overview
We are looking for a flexible and approachable team player to join us in a brand-new role as Head of Operations! This is an exciting opportunity to join our amazing team and make a positive contribution to the future development of our charity's services.
Responsibilities
* Working across the team to ensure the smooth running of our Hospitality, Facilities, Health and Safety and IT functions.
* Acting as the budget holder for several support services across the charity.
* Providing line management and support to our Hospitality Manager and Facilities colleagues.
* Working closely with colleagues and volunteers involved in the day to day running of these services.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience in an Estates / Facilities function.
* Experience working within Catering or Hospitality.
* Experience of leadership and management of staff across different departments.
* Experience of developing and managing budgets across a range of services.
* UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business purposes (there will be a requirement to visit our other sites across Cambridgeshire).
Employment Details
* This is a full-time role, requiring a flexible approach to working hours as unsocial hours will sometimes be required and you will be part taking in an on call rota (at 4.5% of salary).
* Please note that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and needs to be pro-rata'd for part time posts.
