Trainee Dust and Fume Technician (LEV Technician)
Looking to build a career in engineering with full training and great progression opportunities? EFS are Scotland's premier dust handling partner for the manufacturing industry, and we're seeking a motivated trainee to join our team in Central Scotland.
This role combines site-based and office work, with occasional travel further afield, and offers the chance to develop into a fully qualified LEV Technician. You'll enjoy a 4-day working week, a supportive family-run culture, and a clear route to professional qualifications.
What you'll be doing
* Hands-on training in commissioning, balancing and thorough examination of LEV systems
* Maintaining and repairing dust and fume extraction systems
* Troubleshooting and fault finding
* Compiling reports using Microsoft Office
* Supporting day-to-day business operations with a variety of practical tasks
What we're looking for
* A positive "can do" attitude and willingness to learn
* Excellent IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
* Full clean driving licence
* Previous industrial site experience, including risk assessments and method statements, would be an advantage but not essential

* Starting rate £12.50/hour, increasing to £13.75/hour once BOHS training is achieved
* 4-day working week: Monday to Thursday, 7.00am to 5.15pm
