As a Switchboard Operator at JLL, you'll be the vital first point of contact for our client Rolls-Royce and colleagues, ensuring seamless communication across our organisation. You will manage incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency while embodying our commitment to exceptional service. What your day-to-day will look like
* Ensure all guests receive an excellent welcome and consistently deliver great service.
* Answer calls promptly and handle queries efficiently.
* Answer calls in a professional and friendly manner.
* Maintain professional email etiquette, including answering and directing emails via the switchboard with appropriate greeting and sign-off.
* Know the switchboard and the information you have available.
* Answer calls promptly and forward to the correct department/personnel.
* Handle guest complaints and provide swift solutions or escalate as appropriate.
* Vet calls to prevent unnecessary calls reaching departments and personnel.
* Attend training courses organised by JLL.
* Carry out ad hoc requests made by Client Management and respond to executive requests as priorities.
* Obtain authorisation on holiday requests before booking with a third party.
* Report faults in the switchboard area.
* Assist irate customers and resolve complaints efficiently.
* Assist in other reasonable duties as required by colleagues, managers, or clients.
* Communicate professionally with residents and the client, providing a 5-star level of service.
* Use computer as an effective communication tool, inputting data into Excel and Word.
* Ad-hoc duties as requested by your line manager.
Experience Required
* Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role.
* Excellent verbal communication skills with clear English pronunciation.
* Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Professional telephone etiquette.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
