Position: EMEA Supply Planner

Reporting to: EMEA Supply Planning Manager
Hours / Work Pattern: 40 hours per week / Full Time
Position Overview
A leading global brand in the consumer goods sector is seeking an experienced EMEA Supply Planner to join their operations team based in Uxbridge, London. This role is key in ensuring finished goods availability across the EMEA region by managing supply planning activities and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
The Supply Planner will collaborate closely with demand planning, raw material planning, and project teams to manage production schedules, new product launches, and master data accuracy. This position is vital to supporting the business’s continued growth and efficiency across a large and dynamic regional supply chain.
Key Metrics
* Case Fill: % of customer orders fulfilled from stock
* Plan Schedule Adherence: % of scheduled SKUs planned vs. produced
* Plan Volume Adherence: % of volume planned vs. actual production
* Cost-to-Serve: Reduce supply chain costs while aligning with inventory policies
* PIPO (Phase-In/Phase-Out): Successful management of product transitions
* Inventory Health: Reduce obsolete stock through targeted inventory strategies
* Master Data Adherence: Accuracy of planning data in internal systems
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage both short- and long-term finished goods supply plans
* Issue and track purchase orders with co-packers, ensuring accuracy in quantity, delivery, and specifications
* Proactively monitor and mitigate risks related to slow-moving or obsolete inventory
* Respond quickly to supply disruptions or demand shifts, adjusting production plans accordingly
* Support new product introductions by aligning supply plans with project timelines
* Lead phase-in/phase-out transitions to minimize waste and support smooth launches
* Maintain accurate data in SAP and integrated planning tools to support decision-making
* Build and maintain strong relationships with co-packers and cross-functional teams
* Review and optimize planning parameters to balance inventory and availability
* Monitor co-packer performance and coordinate capacity reviews aligned with S&OP timelines
* Run root cause analyses for issues like stock-outs, poor inventory turnover, or supply non-compliance
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 3 years of experience in supply planning within the FMCG industry
* Strong analytical and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
* Effective communicator and team player within cross-functional, international environments
* Demonstrated sense of urgency, accountability, and ability to meet deadlines
* Strong math and measurement conversion skills
* Solid understanding of MRP systems and supply planning processes
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; SAP experience preferred
