Female Personal Care Assistant required for a 35-year-old young lady with severe learning disability, tracheostomy, laryngectomy, corrected spinal scoliosis, and epilepsy. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support with daily activities, manage tracheostomy and epilepsy, and promote learning, recreation, and socialization.
The ideal candidate should be a woman with a driving license, plenty of common sense, responsibility, and 100% reliability. Nursing qualifications are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. The candidate should be respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality, reliable with good timekeeping, able to follow instructions and work on own initiative, hygienic, tidy, and well-organized.

* Medication prompting/administering
* Personal grooming
* Eating and drinking assistance
* Moving and handling
* Clinical tasks
* Administration
* Transportation
* Companionship
* Dressing/undressing
* Bathroom assistance
* General household duties
* Laundry, washing, and drying
* Changing bed linen/bed making
* General housework, including cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming
* Preparing drinks, snacks, and meals
* Light gardening duties
* Assistance with applying cream
* Catheter care
* Assistance with getting in and out of bed
* Helping with other aspects of personal care
* Physiotherapy exercises
* Accompanying the client to appointments and social events
