A welcoming primary school in the B33 area is seeking a dedicated SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to a pupil with SEMH, ASD, or ADHD needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey.
The Role
*
Full-time, long-term position (Monday – Friday, during school hours)
*
Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs
*
Assisting with social, emotional, and academic development
*
Working closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external professionals
*
Creating a calm, consistent, and encouraging learning environment
What We’re Looking For
*
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience)
*
Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, ASD, or ADHD
*
Patience, empathy, and resilience
*
A proactive and positive approach to supporting children
