Summary We're looking for a Senior Volunteering & Community Officer to join the team at North & West Dorset. If you have experience in volunteer management and engagement then we'd like to hear from you. What it's like to work here We are an energetic and committed team who look after one of the most complex and varied mix of special places in the National Trust, with 33 different sites in our care. You'll be joining the team at a hugely exciting time as we embark on a programme of largescale habitat restoration, tree establishment and as we actively explore opportunities to deliver more for nature on our land in North & West Dorset. You'll need to draw on your enthusiasm and great attitude to play your part and help motivate, inspire and empower people to join in with us. You'll make a difference everyday to history, nature and wildlife in Dorset. What you'll be doing You'll form part of the Property Leadership Team, working alongside the Properties Senior Volunteering & Community Officer to take strategic lead for Countryside volunteering on the portfolio and to deliver our vision for Countryside volunteering and engagement. You'll be working collaboratively to lead and organise the portfolio volunteer social calendar and events. You'll be supporting Volunteer Managers in our Ranger, Welcome Services and Lyme Regis Shop teams, with new roles, recruitment and volunteer management. Your work will increase the confidence and capability of others whilst creating a collective, flexible and inclusive environment for existing & future volunteers, communities and partners. Fostering closer relationships and partnerships with our local communities, you'll support our ambition to grow the involvement of new audiences in our work and help to bring people and communities with us.
