We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to oversee the delivery of high-quality care within our service. This role combines hands‑on clinical responsibilities with leadership duties, ensuring that care standards, compliance, and team performance consistently meet regulatory and organisational expectations.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support the clinical team to deliver safe, effective, and person‑centred care
* Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and clinical governance processes
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and best practice guidelines
* Monitor and improve care quality through audits, feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Act as a role model, providing mentorship, supervision, and training to staff
* Liaise with healthcare professionals, residents, families, and external stakeholders
* Manage incidents, safeguarding concerns, and complaints appropriately
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of clinical staff
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date clinical records
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN
* Proven experience in a senior clinical or leadership role
* Strong knowledge of clinical governance and care standards
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to delivering high‑quality, compassionate care
* Experience in care homes / community care / specialist services (adjust as needed)
* Leadership or management qualification
* Experience with CQC inspections and regulatory compliance
