About the Role
The role involves interpreting drawings and specifications, preparing compliant bids using Amtech (Estimation) and Trimble ContractMaster, managing enquiries, and attending site and client meetings. Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills are essential, along with proven knowledge of electrical services and estimating within the construction or engineering sectors.
Key responsibilities
* Work alongside the Electrical Estimating Manager and fellow estimators as part of a structured team.
* Read and understand employer’s requirements for each project.
* Read and interpret engineering specifications and project scope.
* Accurately measure and take off quantities from engineering drawings.
* Send out enquiries and analyse quotations.
