Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be working with Laser Planet Watford, looking for a General Manager to join their new larger facility, which will be opening in Watford Spring/Summer 2024.
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience within the leisure industry, as well as previous experience within management. This position will suit someone who is organised, has strong people skills, with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service, as well as someone who can continuously coach and train their team members to deliver an excellent service to customers.
The suitable candidate will be passionate about running this new facility to the highest standards.
Salary - £30,000 - £32,000
Hours - 40 hours per week across weekdays/evenings and weekends
Some of the duties will include:
Managing staff members, providing continuous training and coaching to ensure they're working to the highest standards
Supporting staff members with any areas of development
Managing a team of circa 6 members at one time
Keeping up to date with risk assessments, health and safety and other important documentation
Ensuring the facility is kept clean at all times
Take responsibility of the business as if its your own
Delivering a high level of customer service ensuring customers have a great experience whilst visiting
Flexibility on working hours across weekends, evenings and holidays
Administration is a key part of the role
Handling staff rotas

Previous experience within the leisure industry working at management level
Excellent staff management skills

Excellent organisational skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent administration skills
Experience with risk assessments and health and safety
Food safety certificate
Local to the Watford area
