Job Description: Groundworks / Bricklaying Contractor
We are seeking an experienced all-round contractor to carry out drainage and structural alteration works within a factory environment.
Scope of Works:
* Installation of a concrete lintel.
* Forming a breach in an existing block wall.
* Formation of a new drainage channel connecting into existing site drainage.
* Breaking out and excavating a section of the factory floor.
* Creating a 1.2m x 1.2m opening through the concrete slab to facilitate tunnelling and associated groundworks.
* Making good the wall with blockwork to a professional finish.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in bricklaying, groundworks, and concrete works.
* Experience of grinding machinery essential.
* Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship.
* Strong understanding of health and safety on site.
Duration & Start Date:
* Works are scheduled to commence early next week.
* Estimated duration is approximately two weeks.
