Customer Service and Sales Representative
Originally established in 2003, Simply Log Cabins and Garden Chic are part of the Gudrum group,
We sell made to order log cabins and gardening products through our 2 websites; and
We currently looking for for a driven and experienced Customer Service and Sales representative to join our team and to initially provide some maternity cover, with a contract through to the end of June. However for the right candidate, there is the possibility of making the position permanent.
About you
You are an experienced customer service and sales representative with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and someone who is looking to further grow their career.
You enjoy speaking with a wide range of customers and possess the ability to guide them through both the pre-sales and after-sales processes as efficiently as possible, ensuring that all parties remain happy throughout.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Assist with aftersales and customer services duties via telephone and email.
* Identify prospective customers and upsell further products via telephone and email.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service.
* Keep up to date with product information and recommend the best product for the customer.
* Liaising with suppliers on delivery dates and after-sales information.
* Taking payments for outstanding orders.
Essential Skills:
* 2+ years customer service / sales experience
* Proven ability to deliver consistent high level of customer service
* Fantastic telecommunication skills and natural ability to build conversation
* High level of drive and passion to be successful
* Willing to learn and challenge yourself
* Self-motivated and driven
* Organised and a high level of resilience
* Competent in Microsoft Excel & Word
Desirable
* Previous experience in selling & supporting high ticket luxury items
* An interest in the garden/log cabin industry
Working hours will be Mon – Friday 8.30am-5pm and could include some Saturdays mornings during peak periods (March-July).
