We currently have an exciting opportunity within Nationwide Platforms as a Technical Trainer. As a Technical Trainer, you will work with the Training team, covering the Northern area.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing and delivering engineering-based courses (not limited to):
* Pre-Delivery/Post-Hire Inspection
* Foundation Courses
* Tech Electrics, Hydraulics, Schematics, Engine, Inspection
* Advanced Fault Finding in electrical and hydraulic systems
* Attaining accreditation for manufacturer training courses
* Maintaining current courseware
* Delivering at least 100 training days annually (face-to-face, virtual, online)
* Acting as an ambassador for the company, promoting safety and QHSE compliance
* Managing small training projects and conducting Train the Trainer sessions
* Preparing training with risk assessments and conducting assessments
* Undertaking relevant training courses and qualifications, including NVQ Assessing and IPAF Instructor qualification
Qualifications and experience required:
* Formal qualification in heavy plant, powered access, or similar
* Good interpersonal skills and engaging communication style
* Adaptability, resilience, and a strong work ethic
* Organizational and time management skills
* High literacy and numeracy standards
* Comfort working at height
* Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable skills include extensive powered access engineering experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and teaching or mentoring experience.
