Graduate Landscape Architect (London) role at Jacobs. Join the Jacobs Graduate Development Programme (GDP) to support your development at the start of your Jacobs career journey and work on meaningful projects in water resources, flooding, sustainable travel and infrastructure. The programme provides blended learning, mentoring, progress reviews and networking across four focus areas: human skills, consulting skills, championing our strategy and your passions. The GDP is designed to be on-the-job with learning experiences planned with your manager and mentor. The start date for this position is September 2026.
What you’ll do
As a Graduate Landscape Architect based in our Bristol office (note: role location included for Jacobs’ UK presence), you will contribute to delivering solutions for large-scale sustainable infrastructure and development projects from concept through planning and construction. You will work within the Water and Environment team alongside a diverse, multi-disciplinary group of landscape architects and other professionals, with opportunities to experience different roles to support your career development. You will also receive mentorship to help with the Landscape Institute Pathway to Chartership and financial support, with opportunities to participate in Jacobs’ Graduate Development Programme and bi-yearly salary reviews.
Key activities may include:
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop landscape solutions for clients
* Support projects across concept through construction stages
* Engage with mentors and managers to capture meaningful on-the-job learning experiences
* Explore opportunities across different roles within the Water and Environment team
What you’ll need
* Be working towards a relevant Degree or Master’s level qualification in Landscape Architecture
* A flexible self-starter who is keen to drive your career forward
* Adaptable to change with a thirst for learning
