Contract
Permanent – Fixed Term 1 Year Maternity Cover, 37.50 hours per week
Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and develop the radiology nursing team.
* Ensure delivery of exceptional patient care across all radiological procedures.
* Create a positive, high‑performing environment where multidisciplinary teamwork thrives.
* Oversee departmental rotas, appraisals, recruitment, performance and daily operations.
* Ensure compliance with hospital policies, CQC standards, radiation protection and infection control.
* Drive quality improvement initiatives, audits and service development.
* Support patient concerns, complaints and service feedback (including NPS).
* Ensure equipment, resources and pharmaceutical supplies are efficiently managed.
* Maintain robust governance standards and safe working practices.
Qualifications and Skills
* Registered Adult Nurse with a BSc or currently working towards one.
* Current ILS (Immediate Life Support) certificate (essential).
* Post‑graduate qualification in Radiology nursing or equivalent (desirable).
