Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements:
* Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a small company setting.
* Strong understanding of AWS services and the ability to manage a multi-server environment.
* Proficiency in building event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, and SNS.
* Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, Docker for containerization, and Kubernetes for orchestration.
* Familiarity with monitoring tools like DataDog.
* Knowledge of automation using PowerShell and experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for C# .Net development.
* Understanding of networking, traditional infrastructure, and development practices that ensure security, scalability, and resilience.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of the company’s infrastructure as their first AWS DevOps Engineer.
* Transition from a single EC2 instance to a robust multi-server AWS environment with serverless technology.
* Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and system performance.
* Ensure that APIs, background services, and databases operate smoothly.
* Set up CI/CD pipelines to support the development team in automating their deployments.
* Deliver a secure, scalable, and resilient technical estate that is well-documented for future growth.
