Overview
This is a full-time and fixed-term up to 9 months (Maternity Cover) opportunity within the Learning and Development Team, Organisational Development and Change Directorate at Loughborough University. The team delivers high-quality, innovative learning interventions to develop staff, managers and leaders to underpin positive cultural change. Learning and Development Advisers design, deliver and evaluate a comprehensive programme of creative development opportunities, events and resources delivered in a blended way to meet colleagues’ needs.
The roles support the development of creative learning resources (including online learning packages), organisational training needs analysis, bespoke facilitation for teams outside of standard programmes, and coordination of the University’s key talent management and career development schemes.

Responsibilities
* The team is responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative learning interventions that focus on the development of skills, knowledge and behaviours of staff, managers and leaders to underpin positive cultural change.
* Learning and Development Advisers are responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of a comprehensive programme of creative development opportunities, events and resources, delivered in a blended way to meet colleagues’ needs.
* Each Learning & Development Adviser is responsible for a range of key themes and projects (e.g. coaching, EDI, management) and contributes to a wide range of projects led by others in the team as part of a collaborative and agile working environment.
* The roles support the development of creative learning resources (including online learning packages), organisational training needs analysis, bespoke facilitation for teams within the University outside of standard programmes, and the coordination of the University’s key talent management and career development schemes.
Qualifications
* Candidates will have experience of working in a learning and development role and the ability to provide pragmatic solutions and guidance on learning and development needs, design and delivery of training events, workshops, online learning development on a range of topics, and supporting high-level strategic projects.
* Candidates should have strong facilitation and communication skills to engage large groups, coaching and mentoring experience, an in-depth understanding of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion that is embedded in their work, and excellent digital skills to support blended learning.
