We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Spinal Rehabilitation Health Care Assistant to join our dynamic team in Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre. In this rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in supporting individuals recovering from spinal injuries, disease and surgeries, ensuring they receive the best possible care. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to assist patients in their rehabilitation process, helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence. To work as an integral member of a team, supporting other staff, always treating everyone with respect and acting in the best interest of patients.


To answer the telephone and take accurate messages, chaperoning patients, escorting patients, and running errands.


To communicate effectively with all appropriate colleagues regarding the delivery of patient care, and as delegated by the nurse in charge.

Grade 2 Maths and English or Level 2 Functional Skills
Completed Care Certificate

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
