The shift pattern for this position is 9am – 5pm. This is an exciting full time post to join the Adult Learning Disability Team in Renfrewshire as a Speech and Language Therapist, The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. They will deliver comprehensive, specialist Speech and Language Therapy services to clients with a variety of communication difficulties and/or eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties delivered in a variety of settings. They should have a high level of clinical skill, knowledge and experience across a broad spectrum of diagnoses and aetiologies. The successful candidate should be a registered Speech and Language Therapist with valid HCPC registration. They should have a breadth of knowledge in learning disabilities. They should have an interest in developing their skills in a mental health inpatient setting as there will be the added opportunity provide support into the inpatient mental health service within Renfrewshire. The successful candidate will be operationally managed by the Team Lead for Speech and Language Therapy with links to the wider Learning Disability SLT team across NHSGG&C.
