This is an outstanding opportunity to provide high-calibre legal advice and support on wholesale matters, ensuring consistent and proactive legal business partnering.
The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
* Respected legal professional in IT/telecoms sector, with demonstrated history and minimum 6 years post-qualification involvement (private practice or in-house) with responsibility for strategic delivery of significant legal and business projects, including major telecommunications contracts and/or b2b sales cases.
* Proficient lawyer with a sound background in diverse telecom transactions, exhibiting substantial legal and business understanding developed in private practice and in-house environments managing complexity and competing priorities and ensuring accountabilities are clear to effectively manage business risk and anticipating obstacles and crafting pragmatic solutions aligned with organisational goals.
* Ability to adapt to change and ambiguity in a complex, fast-changing environment.
* Expert commercial legal advisor, utilising extensive understanding of the competition, industry, and key issues facing our business, to translate business strategy into legal execution plans providing recommendations on course of action to address legal risk.
* Exudes high energy and is results-focused, capable of operating under pressure.

* Deep expertise in drafting and negotiating various b2b and b2b2c contracts.
* Experience in managing relationships and leading cross-functional collaboration at all levels.
* Strong instincts, politically astute with excellent communication skills, influencing decisions beyond the legal lens.
* Financial literacy with an understanding of key performance indicators.
* Independence and proactive attitude, working autonomously whilst contributing to operational excellence with people management skills demonstrated through line management or leadership responsibility in coaching or mentoring more junior colleagues or leading cross-functional projects.
